ECHS BBall Family,
The long wait is over. First games in over 13 months happen this week. There are a lot of moving parts this week, plus some schedule changes, so make sure you read closely.
COVID Testing
All active players MUST go to Neighborhood Health (425 N. Date St, Escondido) between 1pm and 2pm to receive their COVID tests, in order to be eligible to play in the games this week. I will be there as well, with my phone on me. If you get lost or have questions, shoot me an email.
Pregame Walkthrough / Shootaround
I will be hosting a pregame walkthrough and shootaround for interested players after our COVID test. This will likely start around 2:30 and last until 3:30ish. This is optional, but encouraged.
Spectators
We are allowing two spectators per athlete for our home games. All spectators will be screened, temperature checked, and required to wear masks.
Varsity Transportation to Road Game (Tuesday)
Due to COVID regulations, all players will need to secure their own transportation to our away game Tuesday, vs The Bishops School, in La Jolla. I'd like all varsity players there by 5:30pm. Please let me know if transportation is an issue for this game, and we can work something out.
Now for the schedule!
MONDAY
1 - 2pm -- COVID Testing (425 N. Date St., Escondido). Ideally, Varsity goes from 1-1:30, JV from 1:30-2, but there is wiggle room.
2:30 - 3:30 -- shootaround / walkthrough
5pm -- JV Home game vs Classical Academy. White Uniforms! Players at the school dressed and ready by 4pm.
7pm -- Varsity Home game vs Classical Academy. White Uniforms. Players at the school dressed and ready by 6pm.
TUESDAY
JV OFF
630pm -- Varsity Away game @ The Bishop's School (7607 La Jolla Blvd, La Jolla, CA). Maroon Uniforms! Players should arrive by 5:30pm.
WEDNESDAY
VARSITY OFF
1-3pm -- JV Practice
THURSDAY
JV OFF
1-3pm -- Varsity practice
FRIDAY
1-3pm -- practice, both teams.
