ECHS BBall Family,
I hope you are all doing well and have had some time to rest! I know that many of the boys are ready to get back on the court, so we have been working behind the scenes to try to put together a summer workout schedule.
I plan to do workouts in the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays (starting this coming week [6/22], and going through Tuesday, July 13) from 4-6pm.
FAQs:
Q - Do I need to complete a waiver to attend summer workouts?
A - Yes. The form can be completed digitally at https://bit.ly/ahcsrelease
Q - Is attendance to summer workouts mandatory?
A - No. I encourage players to attend the workouts if they are able, but they are not required, and will in no way impact placement on teams when we get to the season.
Q - What will the summer workouts look like?
A - Summer training will consist of a combination of skill work, strength work, and speed work. We will do a lot of individual training, and a lot of just letting the boys play basketball.
Q - Will the team participate in a summer league?
A - TBD. I anticipate that we will, but those schedules still have yet to be made, as some teams are still competing in state playoffs. I will update you the second I find out. I would LOVE to run an A team and a B team in a summer tourney, but I am waiting to finalize those details. Since our high school season only just finished, most traditional summer leagues and tourneys are not happening this year.
Finally, please know that this schedule is very tentative, and is subject to change. I will send out an email each weekend with the upcoming week's schedule, and any updates or changes.
