Hello ECHS Girls Soccer Players and Families,
Welcome to the 2023/2024 season! We are all so excited to be out on the field with you every day over the next few months. Now for some announcements and this week's schedule:
1. This week we will have practice for both JV and Varsity Monday through Friday @ ECHS 4-6pm. Please make sure to wear proper practice attire (preferable ECHS Gear if you have it) and bring plenty of water.
2. We will be passing out this year's uniforms, bags, practice gear and swag next week on Wednesday or Thursday. Please bring cash to pay for your gear (JV $50 for your two shirts and hoodie, and $70 for varsity for your 3 shirts and hoodies). If you need to work out some sort of payment plan with me for your gear, please let me know. Also, please do your best to keep all uniforms, bags, and practice gear in as nice a shape as possible throughout the season.
3. We will be starting our Snap Raise Fundraiser this next week! Please collect 20 emails and be ready to input those into the Snap Fundraiser this next week. We will be doing one more fundraiser this year with Jersey Mikes that I will keep you in the loop about as soon as we finalize more details.
4. We will be having our Parent and Player Meeting this Thursday after practice 6-6:30pm @ the Lunch Tables just outside the field. It is important that at least one parent from each household attends this meeting. We will be reviewing and signing the parent and player contracts at this time.
5. We will be practicing during Thanksgiving break Monday (11/20) through Wednesday (11/22). Practices are scheduled for the mornings 9am-11am. Please do your best to be at these practices as our first game is the following week. If you are going on vacation or will be gone, please let your coaches know ASAP.
6. Our ECHS Girls Soccer Photos/ Media Day will be on November 21st during practice! If you miss picture day we will have a makeup day with a date TBD.
7. Donations! We ask that every player bring in at least $100 worth of donations throughout the course of the season. This can be a simple check from parents/grandparents/or other family members or cash from other supporters of ECHS Soccer (a great way to raise this money is by asking people at your places of work!). Please make sure checks are payable to ECHS Girls Soccer and those can be turned into the coaches or the ECHS Front Office. COACHES DO NOT RECEIVE ANY OF THESE FUNDS! THEY ARE PLUGGED RIGHT BACK INTO ECHS GIRLS SOCCER. We spent a lot of money this offseason on new goals, soccer balls, swag, and other equipment so we need your help to replenish our account.
