There is an old term we use in football that says, "Keep your head on a swivel." Essentially it means to be aware and be able to adjust as needed. You have done exactly that over these last 12 months as athletes, coaches, and families! This week marks our "Return To Play" as we will be playing this Friday night in our scrimmage game against Francis Parker. In order to get our athletes and coaches on the field to compete we need to be COVID Screened/Tested this week. This coming Monday from 1PM - 3PM we have partnered with Neighborhood Health Care to conduct our free COVID tests for our athletes and coaches. Players will need to secure transportation to and from Neighborhood Health Care located at:
Neighborhood Health Care
425 N. Date Street, Escondido CA 92025
Here are the assigned time slots for our team:
1:00 PM - Seniors/12 Grade
1:30 PM - Juniors/11 Grade
2:00 PM - Sophomores/10 Grade
2:30 PM - Freshman/09 Grade
If you cannot attend this testing session you will need to secure a COVID screening/test with your own health care provider. Because of the strict state and CIF guidelines, players and coaches will not be allowed to participate in this Friday's scrimmage without a COVID Screening/Test. Players and families please be sure to also have your consent forms when you arrive.
I know it has been a long journey to get us here, but I am so thankful to be your coach and teammate! You all have done an amazing job keeping your heads on a swivel!
Play as One!
When there is hope in the future, there is power in the present!
