Hello Football Families,
We have had over 70 players participate in this summers conditioning and we had another good week of practice and learning. In our third week of workouts our young men have had by far their best week and they continue to learn the importance of conditioning in all they do on the field and off. As John Wooden says "ability may get you to the top, but character keeps you there - mental, moral, and physical." We will be back at it this Monday at 8:00am at ECHS as we finish up our summer conditioning week 4 of 4.
I also wanted to thank all the families who have already signed up to support our football program this fall. There are a variety of ways to get involved and lend your support. You can even complete ECHS volunteer hours in the process. We count on all our families getting involved and serving our student athletes hearts and not just their talents. Q - Do I need to complete a waiver to attend summer workouts?
A - Yes. A Summer Conditioning Waiver Form can be digitally filled out at: https://bit.ly/ahcsrelease
Q - Do I have to attend Summer Conditioning?
A - Summer Conditioning is a voluntary OTA. We recommend that every player go through these 4 weeks to prepare their bodies for a football season.
Q - What if I have a family vacation planned or summer camp?
A - Although we did hand out our team calendar in January so that families could plan vacations and camps, we understand that sometimes there will be a summer conflict. Rule of thumb is, “If you are in town during summer conditioning be at the workouts. If you are out of town, have fun with your family and friends.” Just remember to wear sunblock! SPF 50!
Q - Where and when do the summer conditioning practices take place?
A - We start practice at 8AM sharp at Escondido Charter High School

Q - What should I bring to the Summer Conditioning Workouts?
A - Cleats, black shorts, and your spring football t-shirt (Football Team will provide you a workout shirt). Also a water jug to stay hydrated and a healthy snack. On a side note it is really important that you drink a lot of water the day before your workouts and during workouts.
Q - What days of the week do we work out?
A - We run our summer conditioning program Monday - Thursday.
