Hello Football Families,
We had a great start of football last week! I am so encouraged by our player's hard work this last week and I am especially proud of their positive attitudes with their teammates and their focus as they learn the offensive and defensive installs. Keep up the great work players and coaches!

Players we will see you Monday at 3:00 sharp in the theater for film and then practice.

Next, as we approach our first scrimmage game this Friday at Kearny High School, each player will need to secure their own ride to and from the game. Players please make sure you have all your gear and arrive at
Kearny High School no later 2:00.

Finally, I want to share with you a story that I read in USA Today. Seattle Seahawks Head coach Pete Carroll had his team read the book “The Road to Character". The author outlines 15 points he calls “The Humility Code” with point No. 4 stating that “humility is an awareness that your individual talents alone are inadequate to the tasks that have been assigned to you.” Coach Carroll says “That’s what playing for one another means.” Play as One!
