Dear ECHS Cross Country,
I am pleased to announce we will begin fall conditioning on Wednesday, October 14th. We will be conditioning on the ECHS athletic field from 4:15pm - 5:30pm. These conditioning opportunities are for cross country only and are 100% voluntary/optional. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early so you have enough time to complete the COVID screening before the workout starts.
If you want to participate, please read and complete the following requirements and guidelines below.
All athletes must complete Player Protocols/Guidelines Agreement before attending: https://bit.ly/ahcsrelease
The following rules will be in effect until further notice from AHCS and ECHS Administrators:
Athlete participation is voluntary.
Athletes that wish to participate in OTA’s must follow the guidelines/rules or they will not be allowed to participate.
Parents may not attend/watch practices.
Athletes must bring their own face mask (Masks will not be required during exercise), water bottle labeled with their name, and hand sanitizer each day.
Athletes must arrive ready to workout (clothes, shoes, etc.).
Athletes are also encouraged to wear sweat bands, hats, etc. to reduce touching their face throughout the workouts.
Athletes will be screened for symptoms and temperature will be taken/recorded by a coach at the beginning of practice each day.
Athletes with a temperature above 99.9°F will be sent home immediately and may not return for 14 days.
Athletes will also be referred for a physician evaluation.
Athletes that have symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend practice and should self-isolate for at least 14 days.
Athletes/Coaches will be placed in groups no larger than 12 and must stay with those groups until further notice. There will be no use of the locker room until further notice.
All activity will take place outside until Phase 1 of return to participation is completed.
Athletes may not use traditional high-fives, fist bumps, etc. No touching will be allowed.
Coaches will enforce social distancing and create visual markings for athletes.
Athletes disobeying rules will not be allowed to participate.
Equipment use will be limited. Any equipment used will be cleaned daily by coaches.

Please always feel free to contact me with questions and/or comments. I hope you all have an AMAZING week!
